At Achimota Hospital, we’re committed to supporting the fight against breast cancer. This October, we’re proud to participate in the global Pink October campaign, emphasizing the importance of community support for those affected by breast cancer. In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Achimota Hospital has embarked on a series of activities to educate and support our community.

Launch Event (October 9, 2024)

We kicked off our Pink October celebrations with a launch event at Alogboshie, Okaikoi North Municipality. Community leaders, the Municipal Director of Health, school children, and other stakeholders attended. The event featured:

– Breast cancer education
– Free screening services

Achimota Senior High School Outreach (October 10-11, 2024)

Our team engaged students in awareness campaigns and screenings, empowering the next generation with knowledge.

Achimota Keep Fit Club Walk (October 13, 2024)

We joined forces with Achimota Keep Fit Club for a walk to promote awareness and healthy lifestyles.
