Achimota Hospital Commemorates World AIDS Day
This year, Achimota Hospital joined the global community to mark World AIDS Day with a vibrant and impactful outreach. The hospital grounds came alive as clients were welcomed to take part in free health screenings, with a special focus on HIV testing.
As part of the day’s activities, the team also distributed HIV self-test kits and male condoms, empowering individuals with tools for safer choices and early detection. Additional screenings for Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis, and Syphilis ensured a holistic approach to promoting community health.
The event reflected the hospital’s continued commitment to awareness, prevention, and accessible healthcare for all.
