General OPD Services
The Outpatience Department is an integral part of the hospital to run that provides diagnosis and takes care of the patients who cannot stay overnight. These are specially meant for outpatients.
The department also includes in-patient services and physicians and surgeons who take care of inpatients in the ward and are consultants in the OPD. Before being admitted as an inpatient the examination and treatment take place in the OPD. The patients who are in-patient and get discharged also visit the OPD for follow-up.
Our roles
- Triaging of patients at the OPD and er
- Checking and recording of vital signs of all patients before seeing a prescriber
- Attending to all emergency cases at the er (medical, surgical, pediatrics and o&g cases)
- Wound dressing
- Testing for malaria and HIV
- Health Education
